We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land, the Gubbi Gubbi People. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present. We recognise their connection to country adn their role in caring for and maintaining country. We acknowledge this land has all been a place of learning, long before school buildings, walkways and signage, and that teaching, engagement and learning has occurred here for tens of thousands of years. May their continuing continuing strength and wisdom be with us all.
At Humpybong SS, we care... Our core values of Consideration, Appreciation, Respect and Effort are grounded and the forefront of thinking and ways of working. We share in the concept of 'teach with passion and manage with compassion'. This is evident in our safe, disciplined adn includsive philosophical approach to our core business of quality education for Prep - Year 6, for our students and families.
Our values represented by CARE, are explicitly taught, discussed, modelled and aligned to 'Care for Self, Others, Learning and Property'. Humpybong SS aims to provide a sea of learning opportunities for every student, now and into the future.
