Humpybong State School has a long and distinguished reputation in the Penninsula and provides co-educational state education to primary age students from Prep to Year 6. Our school caters for a diverse range of students, including those with special needs through integrated classroom learning programs, gifted and talented programs as well as access to Individual Curriculum Plans.
At Humpybong all students are encouraged to become responsible, confident, self-motivated and co-operative individuals who aspire to achieve their maximum potential within a safe and supportive setting.
The school and community will work together to enable each individual to develop to their maximum potential, socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
This growth will be fostered in a warm supportive setting, where the self-worth of each child will be encouraged. The school community will support all students to become responsible, co-operative individuals who will be able to make effective decisions in a changing society.
SOL (Sea of Learning) represents the school’s ethos and values, where students are explicitly taught how to Care for Self, Others, Learning and Property.
