Education Queensland's attendance policy
Every Day Counts requires that your child achieves 94% attendance at school. This equates to only 2 days absent each term. Absences are required to be explained by the parent. Parents can contact the school absence line, email the school on info@humpybongss.eq.edu.au or provide a note to the teacher when your child returns to school. Extended absences require a medical certificate or you can contact the deputy principal to discuss whether the absence qualifies for an exemption form process.
